July 31st 2012 – fencing event!

We saw the individual men’s Foil finals at the ExCel in London.
We watched the semi finals, the bronze medal and gold medal bouts!
The gold was won by China, Egypt won the Silver with Korea winning the bronze, Italy were fourth and missed out on a medal. The bronze and gold medal bouts were very close with just a point separating the fencers!
It was really exciting being in the arena with 8000 other people all cheering, clapping and stomping their feet!
It was also my time on the underground !
